Wishmoor another winner for Morris
He'll go for a winners of one or a handicap. He was a bit unlucky in a handicap at Gowran the last day, and travelled a bit better today,.
A Sunday to remember for 'Shark'
Great from McGarvey as he stays on Field
He was very low over the last three at Gowran the last day and it was the same at the second last today. He has a fair engine and is well able to pick himself up at the back of one after making a mistake and gallop on. A great performance by horse and rider. He's improved a lot from Gowran, and should keep improving. We'll have to find another target for him,. I don't really want to go to Aintree and I don't think there is anything for him at Fairyhouse as I don't want to go 2m4f in the Ryanair. First of all he has to come out of this and we'll see where we go then.
Dempsey's Diablo impresses at Leoparstown
He never missed a beat and jumped brilliant though. He travelled, if a bit too free early on, and he's done it well in the end. On his day he's a fair horse — he's been second and third a lot of times last year and it's nice to win a good handicap with him. I'm delighted for the owner who hasn't been well. He might go back to Punchestown for the race he was second in last year, and long term he could be a Galway Plate horse.
Lantern shows he's one for the 'bigger track'
I rode work on this horse the other day and felt he'd win. He didn't really handle the track (at Thurles) the last day. He's probably a better horse at a bigger track, and he might be suited by running in a better race carrying a nice weight,. He's 109 over hurdles and had good runs in maidens. There is a rated race in Limerick the week after Cheltenham over two and a half miles and he might run in that.
O'Brien dominates as Codd moves ahead
Jamie rode him work last week and liked him a lot. I hadn't initially thought of coming here as I was going to give him more time but Jamie liked him and said he was ready to start off and he was one hundred per cent right. They would never go together so it's hard to say (how they would compare). This fella handled the ground well, travelled well and quickened up well. He was impressive. He'll go for a winners bumper in about a month's time. The other two ran well. Sarah said her fella is not fit yet and Paddy liked his. He's a big horse by Stowaway, and it's early enough in the year yet.
