That was good. She is a nice filly and we will step her up in class next to a Listed race at the Curragh towards the end of the month.
Cape Of Approval on upgrade
He did it well. He was only broken around this time last last year so he's more like two-years-old. He'll probably have one more run and it might be in a premier handicap somewhere. He's a big horse. He'll improve away for next year.

Sapphire sparkles in Give Thanks Stakes
That is a nice double. She is the first mare to win both the Noblesse Stakes and the Give Thanks Stakes. She was very impressive and very good. She is a lovely big staying mare and there is lots to look forward to with her. The Irish St Leger is next up and we will take it from there. She is a stayer with speed and she is a very adaptable mare. She is a big galloping mare and I think she will get 1m 6f at her ease. She is only getting going now and she will be kept in training next year.

It's nice to get a winner at any grade [on the flat]. You can't beat a jockey with experience.
Gothen Niece gets her head in front
She got a good ride, but we intended to drop her out completely. She disappointed at Tipperary last time out and I don't know why. We have her handicapped over hurdles so she might go for a hurdle. Or after today we might go for another mile and a half handicap on the level.
Oliver newcomer punches above his weight
I'm very pleased with that. He was a very green horse. Gary (Carroll) said that he picked up as they went around the corner and just kept staying. I'm delighted with that and it looks like he will get further. The ground isn't an issue with him and he will probably step up in trip. I was hoping for a good run but to win like that on his debut suggest he could be a good horse.
