we took a bit of a chance running him on quickish ground at Gowran last week, and Leigh said he handled it (heavy) well today. Pat (Smullen) said he was looking all around him at Gowran and felt he'd improve a lot for the experience, and that showed today. He came out of the race so well that we decided to come here. We won't run him again for a few weeks and freshen him up as he's had three quick runs.

I'm delighted! Robbie is riding out for me and he's a very nice horseman and a very nice guy. She's been second a good few times but is very genuine and was just a bit unlucky. She goes well on soft ground.

he was gelded over the winter and is versatile ground wise. He's in again at Clonmel on Thursday and, providing everything is alright, he'll probably run again.
