Song Of My Heart wins Curragh opener for Wachman/Lordan
She's a nice filly but she really wants good ground. I think she'll be pretty smart on better ground. She holds some reasonably smart entries so we'll play it by year with her.
Arctic wins again for Collins
He's entered everywhere and we're not afraid to go anywhere after that performance. He'll handle better ground but he's effective on soft ground. I don't think we'll see his full potential until he gets good ground, he is a very smart horse.
Chinese White wins Dance Design Stakes
She won as we expected her to, she did it well and she deserved her Group win. The most logical step would be to go for the Blandford Stakes here Leger weekend. If we're fortunate enough to win there we might go for the Prix de L'Opera at Longchamp. She got through the ground well and her optimal trip is over 9f to 1m ¼. She's very effective on better ground. She's a very good filly, she always has been and she's a lot stronger this year.
Termagant wins Moyglare Stakes
We were a little bit concerned about the ground but she handled it well. She might not run again this season and she has done a good job. Our aim now will be to comeback here for the 1,000 Irish Guineas. She has always shown us a great deal and the plan was always to come her after she won her debut at Leopardstown.
McAteer's good run continues
He got his draw today. Ben knows this horse very well, he got a grand lead to the furlong pole and he kept on very well. He's still improving and we use him as a lead horse for the younger horses in the yard. I was delighted to see all of the rain as the ground couldn't be soft enough for this lad.
Poet and Levey claim the Cambridgeshire
He's a tough horse and it was good performance considering he was carrying 10 stone in that ground. Sean gave him a great ride and he's a big solid horse., . He is going into Group class now, he's always being threatening that. He's come on from every run this year.
Reverence will now go for Prix de l'Abbaye
It's great to see him back. The ground was a big help to us today. We were going to run in the Nunthorpe but the ground was too fast and I'm glad we didn't go there now. We will go straight for the Prix de L'Abbaye at Longchamp next.
