Buns a sweet winner for Gilligan & Brouder
We only bought him two weeks ago out of a point-to-point and Derek O'Connor recommended him to us. We said we'd tip around here and see what would happen. It's a pity that Liam (son) is not riding him as he dislocated a shoulder at Fontwell last Sunday, and then Evan Daly was to ride him and unfortunately he broke his collarbone on Friday night. Kevin was a good replacement and it was a good ride by him. I don't know where he will go next but he's after winning and paid for himself.
Sea powers home under Treacy
Ryan got into a bit of bother but lucky enough she was good for him. She pinged the last even though she didn't have a lot of light at it, and she battled all the way up to the line. She wasn't winning out of turn. She disappointed us in Downpatrick the last day, possibly it was due to her first run in a handicap and maybe I went back too quick with her. She had run well around here which is a big plus, and we might come back here for something.
Dasmyhoss completes a good week for McNamara
He’s a lovely horse and Robbie bought him for the owners and won a bumper with him in Tramore. He was just behind Le Richebourg on his first run in a bumper but they have gone slightly separate ways since!. He’s a lovely horse and hopefully there will be another one of those in him. He’ll jump a fence and also finished second at the Curragh last year so there are plenty of options for him. He likes a bit of nice ground so we’ll keep kicking on with him.
Glandore bounces back to his best
Brian was very good on him and did exactly as I asked him. He's a tough horse. He missed a year with injury but has come back as good as ever and was on a reasonable mark.

Doyle delivers on Don't Let Go
That was super and a great pot to get with her. She's been in and out a bit but I'd say she's better over fences. She got caught in a bit at Downpatrick and Sligo over hurdles and didn't enjoy it. She'd a great run in Punchestown the last day which gave her a bit of confidence, and the small field today suited her. That's a hurdle and chase won with her now but I'd say she'll definitely stay chasing now. Ricky gave her a super ride and I just told him to go out and ride her with plenty of confidence, wait all day, and he did that. He's a very good 5lb claimer and a great lad in the yard.
