I was just saying 'he'll (Little Stevie) never fall anyway because he's one of Enda's (Bolger) and he'll be very well schooled!'.
Mississippi River in full flow at Cork
He is a horse who had loads of potential as a young horse but is quirky and has also given leg trouble. I got him from Chris Higgins who had done two years of trotting on the roads to get him right and lot of the credit goes to him. Maxine gave him a peach of a ride and also does all the work with him. He still has ability and I'll hope to win another hurdle before going chasing - he's electric jumping fences. He's a fun horse for the yard and as long as he's healthy and fit I'll keep running him during the summer. I've 20 in training, mostly point-to-pointers, and recently moved to a new yard in Buttevant.

Last Goodbye maintains his winning run
He doesn't do much in front but travelled like a good horse at Navan the last day. He just does enough to stick his old head out but won going away today which is good. I took a punt with the ground today but he handled it and now seems to handle most grounds. Donagh is worth loads with his 5lbs claim and it was the difference between winning and losing today. I've never had a horse win four races in-a-row before and his next run, probably in a 0-150 handicap hurdle at Punchestown, will tell us where to go then - we're still learning about him. I owned him myself for his first two runs but wanted to keep him instead of selling so gathered a group of general friends and other owners and they (Last Goodbye Syndicate) are great and leave me alone to make the decisions.

Give Me A Copper targets gold!
He's the best horse we've ever had - definitely way better. He's a right horse and will be better on better ground. We'd sell anything if we got enough but if he isn't sold, we'll keep him for the Gold Cup! He's a horse who will definitely run in it some year.
