Well it's good to see you all again! (the press). I was hoping he would win it but you never know what is in them races. He is a very laid back colt, a bit different to his old man. He will improve a lot and when he goes up in trip. I wouldn't be getting carried away with him. Hopefully we will be back here in September with him (for the National Stakes).
Redoubtable delivers on eighth time of asking
She had been working well and was the highest rated horse in the race. I was a bit sceptical about her draw (drawn 2). She will probably go for a winners of one now or might run in one of the fillies trial races.
Croisultan scores on first start for Weld
He will run next in the Cork Stakes (Easter Saturday, April 7th) provided the ground is not firm. It was a good performance carrying 9-12 (top weight) and he had been working nicely at home. I got him just after Christmas and he had run some very good races with Liam McAteer.
Chrysanthemum blossoms in first time blinkers
She likes an ease and never really got her ground last year. She was third in a Group 1 and so she was entitled to win this today. She will go for any of those Group races now as long as the ground is not too firm. The blinkers helped her today.
Sharestan provides Oxx with his first Lincolnshire
He will be stepped up to Listed class next and will go for the Heritage Stakes at Leopardstown in three weeks' time. He is still inexperience and a bit green. It's hard to know his best trip until he sharpens up. He goes on soft ground but it remains to be seen whether he goes on better ground. He has a bit of talent and hopefully we will see it this season.
Treble for Lordan as Amira's takes the last
He will run in Stakes races now and a step up in trip will help him. We hadn't intended to make the running but Wayne said that he was raw and green and just pricked his ears. He should improve.
