Bhutan's a name to remember
He is a nice horse and has a big engine and hopefully he will progress with racing, as it's only his third run ever,. He is still green but came back on the bridle coming to the second last. He does have to do some things a little bit better but the raw material is there. It wasn't a brilliant race but I thought he went to the line very very well. Maybe the four year old novice hurdle at Galway on Monday week might come too soon for him but we'll see how he comes out of it. I've nothing off the top of my head planned for him but he'll stay hurdling and aim nice and low.

Smoke clears for O'Sullivan
Jack backed and delivers
I was a bit anxious early on as he got under the first two fences and he was very rusty,. It was his first handicap chase and they went hell for leather, for the grade, the whole way, and I was on my head and didn't travel for the first circuit. The last three were the only three he jumped and that should put him right. Just his class got him through. He's in a tricky place at Galway as there are only three handicap chases and maybe the one on the Sunday might be for him.
McManus' Pass The Ball completes four-timer
he was really enjoying that and we’ll look for another chase next. Niall (son) said he thought they were only walking and that’s why he let him bowl along in front.
Hogan doubles up at Tipp
That was very similar to my earlier winner: we went hard early, he was slow over the first couple but I was happy enough they were going too hard and on the second circuit they slowed right up,. His last four jumps were class - big, bold, scopey jumps and was good and game. . He'll probably run in the Galway Blazers now. I could never figure out why he couldn't win a hurdle race off 90 but he must be an out and out chaser. I won't give up on it though - I might ride him differently and hang on to him over three miles next time.
