Reply impresses at the Curragh
I'm delighted with him. He had a lovely first run and came on for it. He is a horse that is not short of speed and he can go over five or six furlongs. He is a Royal Ascot type and he'll have an entry in the Norfolk and the Coventry Stakes. He travelled strongly from start to finish there.
Duke on the mark back on Irish soil
It's an absolute thrill to have a winner here again. I've come back to Ireland to train pedigree horses which I couldn't do in England. I'm finding it difficult to settle in again. John Oxx and Martin Brassil have been very good to me. I really fancied Roicead today. He's been working like an aeroplane but like the rest of us he's had difficulties in his life. I'd been thinking about coming home since October, principally due to the better prize-money over here. I have another runner today, Penthesilea Eile in the 3.40 and I fancy her to go well too.
Pope rules at the Curragh
Alexander Pope might get further than a mile and a quarter. He'll go to Royal Ascot now or for the French Derby. He's in the King Edward at Royal Ascot over a mile and a half. He travels very well. He doesn't do much when he hits the front which makes me think that he'll get further.
6th Group 1 for So You Think & 1st in Europe
He's a smashing horse and that's the first time he's won over a mile and a half which makes future options easier. Shane Foley gets on brilliant with him and he'll go for another mile and a half handicap next, likely to be at Royal Ascot.
More Guineas joy for O'Brien
She's always been a very good filly and she stays well. The plan for her was to come here and then on to Epsom for the Oaks. Together is likely to go for the Coronation now. Last year Misty For Me won on all grounds so I was puzzled by her run at Newmarket. I knew the ground wasn't the cause and it seems that she just didn't fire on the day. Seamie knows her very well and gave her a great ride and she is a tough hardy filly.
Bolger lands Curragh finale
He's a proper horse. Last year he was a big weak horse but he's coming into his own this year.
