Another wide-margin win for Harmonya Maker
she was good and loved it around here. It just wasn’t enough of a test the last day at Punchestown where the inside track was tight enough and in hindsight we should have gone a bit quicker. She loves it around here, a big galloping track, and is a good mare. I’d say the further she goes the better she is. We won’t commit to where she goes next. She’ll get an entry in the Solerina back here but we have a few mares to make plans for.
Dream delivers on Irish debut
he’s (Indiana Dream) a lovely looking horse and does everything right at home. He won a French bumper and looking at the size of him I’d say there is plenty of improvement in him. There is a winners’ of one race in a few weeks but that will probably come too soon. He’s a grand horse, we like him.
Kashi goes one better at Fairyhouse a year on
He won in Cork (last May) and then I went to Hexham with him for a novice hurdle where he was a 1/3 shot. He came out of the back of the horsebox and nearly killed himself. He’s very lucky to be alive and it’s just taken a while to get back where he was. He likes it around here and goes on the soft ground. We could go for a good handicap with him.
New Year's win for 'shoving on' Cher Why Not
he deserved that as he’s been running well all year. He’s slow but he’s tough and stays well. He was third in this race behind Ronald Pump four years ago but got an injury and missed some time. He’s shoving on in years but he still tries hard and never lets us down.

'Let me at it' - high class hurdler moves Mullins to 20
he’s a great jumper but I haven’t ridden a Willie Mullins horse that fresh for a long time. He’s been off the track for a long time and he was fresh under me all the way. When he sees a fence he says 'let me at it'. He takes them on and at a couple of fences he’s got in deep, so I’ve tried to educate him. He was a very good horse over hurdles and it’s good to have him back again. He’s had a nice blow going down to the last but when I gave him a little squeeze he’s winged the last and gone away nicely. He could be really exciting over two and a half or three miles. He’s got plenty of pace.
Gigginstown notches fifth Christmas win
he’s a fine big jumping horse going forward and winning a bumper is only a bonus. The ground was probably quick enough for him here the last day but the form of that race is working out.
