He gave that a peach of a ride and judged it to the last. I was very disappointed with his first couple of runs. I thought it might be the ground but we took him to Dundalk and he didn't run well either. This was a bit lesser race. He stays well and maybe likes being in front. The owner (Maureen Hunt) will be pleased after the couple of disappointing runs.

He deserved that as his runs have been good. A bit of time helped him as well. He'll make a nice two-and-a-half mile hurdler. I might put him away now as he's a horse that with a bit of time might get better. The young lad was very good on him. For a lightweight he was very strong and good value for the 7lb.
