I put that win down to jockeyship. Andrew said when he came in that he thought he had gone to fast with a circuit to go, although he was last. So if he felt that he had got too fast what had the rest of them done!. He will have a summer campaign now and I'd say he will be better on better ground but I may be wrong!

Knockfierna shows her class

She's a hell of a mare. The form of her run here at Christmas (ran out at the second last when still with every chance) has worked out really well with Sir Des Champs winning at Cheltenham and Four Commanders also running well. I have no regrets about not bringing her to Cheltenham. This was a nice pot and after Christmas this was the plan. She would have been put at risk going to Cheltenham. She might have one more run this season but I don't have any definite plans yet.

Swanfold scores for favourite backers

I'm delighted with that. He didn't cost me a ransom. My son Killian who is eleven picked him out at Tinahely point-to-point and I bought him. He was placed in a couple of point-to-point's but he just wasn't seeing out the trip. He is only a 6yo so he should get better and he wants better ground. He will go for a 2m 1f Novice Handicap Chase at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday now. He is worth looking after.
