Flyer overcomes blunder to win at Tipperary
I'm delighted to have finally won a chase with Pom Flyer - Tipperary's tight track suits him better than the likes of Punchestown and Leopardstown. we actually had him put out on grass recently but brought him in after four days after we saw the conditions for this race. We'll aim him at Listowel next maybe as it is a similar track to here.
Glenstal Abbey makes a winning chase debut
I'm delighted with that as he jumped well enough and although it is hard to know what to make of the race, he seemed to be idling. We'll probably skip Galway as it may come a bit soon.
Bahrain Storm wins Grimes Hurdle
We knew he was in savage order coming here today and we'll head for the Galway Hurdle again next - today's win will leave him spot-on for it. he has 11st08lbs at Galway and I might claim 7lbs off him then - today was a fine stepping stone for him!
Mulhern scores again with Benefit Gale
I bought him two and a half months ago (formerly trained by Liam Burke) and I'm delighted to win with him. I've no plans from here as today was just a starting point.
Impersonator wins for Mullins'
Impersonator is an old horse and wont be going to the top unfortunately! He has a soft palate problem and can run a stinker at times when he 'slips' his palate. However a fast pace suits him as he can come into a race late 'on the bridle'. We may go for a handicap hurdle at Galway next.
Pallasmore wins Galway Plate Trial
Pallasmore likes these flatter tracks and 2m4f looks ideal but we may take our chance in the Galway Plate if he gets into the race. He is coping well with an ease in the ground.
The Real Article maintains unbeaten record
The Real Article is an exciting prospect but its hard to know what to do with him next! We could put him away for the Cheltenham Bumper in March or we could go hurdling now - he jumps very well so hopefully he'll make a better hurdler than bumper horse!
