Pairofbrowneyes justifies trainer's confidence
I thought he'd win and I felt he was my best chance of the weekend. He was on the bridle the last day, but just didn't get home. He just wanted to be dropped back in trip.
Chancol continues his liking for Punchestown
I think he'll improve because he's so big. He's still light and when he fills out he could be anything. Because of that I don't want to run him too often. Fences are a big help to him as he jumps so well. Mags O'Toole spotted him at the sales and said I had to buy him. I'd never heard of his sire (Vangelis) but she said don't mind that just look at the horse and she was right. He's very clean winded and doesn't take a lot (of getting ready).

Hurricane Fly a Morgiana whirlwind
When we took the rug off him in the parade ring many onlookers felt he was a bit heavy. But his homework suggested he was stronger than last year. Ruby was tactically very good. The onus was on the champion to deal with the pace, and it was easier for us to ride our race. It won't be always that easy through the season. Tactically we had the advantage today.
Hero readily lands the odds on hurdle debut
He's a grand big horse, and I'd say the further he goes the better. He'll be a chaser down the road. I'm not sure where he'll go next but he likes big galloping tracks like this.
Lite Duties lands major plunge
A horse fell in front of him at the second last the last day at Cork, and only for that he would have been closer. He'll tip away in those handicaps.
Bordini foils gamble on newcomer
I'm very happy with that and hopefully he'll go on from here. He'll probably go for a winners' race around Christmas time. I think on that performance we will probably keep him to bumpers this season. There were a few well-regarded horses behind. I've been very happy with his homework all along.
