Dawn Delivers on third start
That's job done. She'll stay further and we might look at the Silver Flash with her,. There are no easy maidens and they've been strong all year. The progeny of Dawn Approach are lovely horses to work with and that's half the battle.
Spell takes nursery in style
Browning storms to Kilboy success
Seamus gave her a great ride. She's a filly we've always thought had a lot of ability and she missed a lot of lines,. She's starting to get it together and on her last few runs she's starting to back up. It's a great race for fillies at this time of year. It's fits in perfect. She'll stay a bit further, she was coming home well.
Valor victorious in Minstrel
Over six or seven furlongs on fast ground he's obviously a real good horse,. He had a very good run in Ascot. We tried him at a mile the first day and it was stretching him a bit. Then we came back on a mile on soft ground. Ryan was very happy with him. There were horses with good form in that race. We might have a look at the Lennox in Goodwood or something like that. There's no doubt he's improving. He's by War Front so he would like nice ground and the reason they do is because they are all fast horses.
Surrounding makes up for lost time
I'm delighted. She got struck into behind at Limerick and we lost a lot of time with her. She's a big genuine filly,. They went very steady and that probably helped her with her fitness. Shane was probably in the right place and gave her a nice ride. She's a lightly raced filly and saves her best for the track. She's very game and we'll probably run her in another handicap. Hopefully she keeps improving. Eventually we'll take a chance one day in a Listed race as the owners have all the family. They are terrific owners. They are so patient and never put me under any pressure.
Zeftan scores again at the Curragh
I'm delighted for him. He seems to like the Curragh anyway,. He was probably a little bit unlucky last night. You could say Emma (Smith-Chaston) was a bit out of her ground but then Katie Walsh was behind her (on the winner). It would be easy to blame her but he was just a little unlucky. Hopefully we'll keep coming back here with him. There is no point going anywhere else. Any yard would be glad to have him.
Kamili comes good in maiden
She's been improving with every run. She was a slow learner but we think she's on the right track,. It's great to have a winner for Anne (Marshall) and Frank (Dunne). We think she's a very nice filly, she's a very well-bred filly, and she's after winning a Curragh maiden now. We'll step her up in class now and see what happens. She was unlucky the last day. We thought she had ended up with a very nice mark just by circumstances. She's won a Curragh maiden now so she might be rated mid 80s. We think she's stepping up so hopefully she can keep progressing with each run.
