Mythical Hero delights Mullins in Cork
He is a tough horse and I'm delighted with him. He went around in a schooling hurdle in Tipperary and did it lovely. These four-year-olds are better at the back end and while he isn't a giant, he's not tiny either. He's tough and I like him. He is a Soldier Of Fortune, who is good and solid, and is out of a Flemensfirth mare and I even had a little five on him myself. He had a good run in a bumper but was a typical four-year-old and went a bit flat. He is flying since he came back in and had plenty schooling done. I'm delighted for Tom and Mary (Furlong) who are lucky owners, which makes a big difference!

Consecutive wins for Lucky Max
he won very well and stepped forwards loads, having had a good blow at Clonmel. We found the right opportunity and they were a well exposed bunch. Jack said he was still plenty green and would improve again so we are delighted to have him and we'll go for somethign similar again. I didn't think he was going to do that today but I'd say he will improve loads and will definitely improve for a fence. It is great for Jack who did a year with us when he was young and didn't get many chances point-to-pointing but is a hell of a good fella and is a chap with a big future ahead of him.

Queen Jesse Jay lands a gamble in Cork
it was a nice, even, competitive race and she had a nice run the last day. She jumped well and seems to have taken well to fences. She is fit but not as fit as she looks as she is a big, narrow, light-framed mare and we are always nursing her to keep the condition she has. She won a maiden hurdle on her second run in January and didn't run after that as the horses weren't right and we had to back off them.
