Spencer & Fahey on the mark with Bowen
He had a terrible draw and I don't know how he got across on to the fence. It was a touch of genius. The plan was to come here and then go to Ayr for the Silver Cup, he won't get into the Gold Cup.
Ribbons bounces back to her best
Sole on the mark on home soil
I'm delighted. I thought the ground had gone on him but I wanted to support the race,. The Powers are great to train for and wouldn't have moaned if he had been beaten. I thought Jamie Spencer was going to ruin my day for a moment. He's been a great horse for me and has carried me for five or six years. I'm delighted he's won at home.
Minding leads home O'Brien 1, 2, 3
We always thought Joseph's filly was very good but we weren't sure about the ground as she's a beautiful mover. She ran a very good race. We knew Seamie's filly would handle it as her dam handled it well. It was always a possibility it would happen as we thought she had improved and she did. She got the trip well. I'm delighted with all three fillies. Seamie gave his a lovely patient ride, Joseph rolled along and Michael gave his a lovely ride also. The winner could be there for the Fillies Mile or something like that. She's had a break so hopefully will see out the rest of the year. We let Ballydoyle take her chance on the ground so we would know for next year if she handles it. She didn't run badly and the winner is a good filly. The third filly looked very good winning here first time and then was a little keen. We knew when she started to do things right she'd come into it.
Air a Force to be reckoned with
I'm very happy with him. We took a chance running him on ground that he would have hated. He's a real smooth fast ground horse. He's very exciting. Joseph said he was running away the whole way and he couldn't even get him back in behind horses. He has real pace too. Gleneagles has that pace - natural pace.
St George a facile winner of the St Leger
He was very impressive here the last day. I didn't say anything to Joseph but they went hard up front and he put him asleep. He sneaked through lovely and is a very good stayer. He got the trip really well and travelled very strongly. When Joseph said go he quickened up very well. It's unusual for a horse that stays that well to have that kind of class. He's a very exciting horse. We may have a look at the two-mile race at Ascot (the Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup next month) with him.
Glass gets up in Qatar one-two
She's a very good filly. It was a hell of a performance from a little green filly,. There's not much of her. She needed a bit of luck and it takes a good one to win from that draw. She was last out of the stalls. I like the colt a lot but he's been plagued with sore shins and blew up after two furlongs. I told the lads to help each other out and come in a straight line and track each other. That's something for Sheikh Fahad who handled yesterday's commotion very well. He took it like a man and got on a plane to come over here and make a presentation in the Champion Stakes. If anyone deserves a winner this weekend it's him.
Progressive Torecodor wins the Northfields
He's a nice horse and did it well. He's an improving horse. He ran well in Galway. He'll be a nice four-year-old next year. He's very big and is only coming to himself. That was a nice pot to win. That was the plan but there's no reason we couldn't find another spot for him this year.
