Boston Bob looks a smart one
He looks a very nice recruit. The way he jumped he'll make a nice chaser but I think he will have a good Novice Hurdling career and I won't be afraid to go anywhere with him.
Voler impresses on seasonal debut
She is stronger and she's been easier to train. She will more than likely go for the Hattons Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse in two weeks time. She gets two and a half miles really well and she settled well today. Andrew (Lynch) knows her very well. I was a bit worried as she was going so well at home and she never works well at home.
Gambled on Fenomeno beat stablemate Dylan
It's not ideal running two in a race as one gets beat. I didn't think they would finish first and second. If anything I thought it might be the other way around. The winner is a tough horse and Davy (Russell) said he found plenty when he asked him. He will be a contender wherever he goes now and he might go for the Royal Bond. We will go a different route with Dylan Ross. I know he is a good horse and I think he will get further.
Novarov denies Mag of a hat-trick
He is as slow as a boat but he's all about stamina. On his last run he was hampered twice. He finished sixth and but for being hampered twice I think he would have been third. Like alot of German horses the further he goes the better. He will be out again over Christmas. That's his ground, he wouldn't want it any heavier than that.
Big Zeb completes Fortria hat-trick
I'm thrilled to bits. He was very good today. They were never going hard enough for him. It's a great way to start him back and it's a relief to get that out of the way. We will keep him ticking over now until Leopardstown at Christmas which is the plan. He is really well in himself and his jumping was very slick today He will improve plenty for it.
Bog Warrior scores easily on chasing debut
He has always shown plenty at home and we have a lot of schooling done with him. Fingers crossed he has a big future ahead of him.
Odds-on Formidable takes the bumper at Navan
He needed the run last time out. He ran too keen and got tired. He was a different proposition today. Nina got him settled. He might not want real heavy ground as he hasn't got a huge foot on him. I reckon the second horse might be a good horse. He will go jumping now. He has already won a point-to-point and he might be out before Christmas.
