Third time lucky for Mckinley over flights
Queen made to work for Sligo win
She made hard work of it but it turned into a sprint and it's hard to be impressive when that happens. It was hard work but she won so it's great. She's a grand filly. Two mile three just stretched her the last day. Ground will determine where she goes as she has to have a very good surface to do herself justice. There are two races in Galway but it would have to be very quick for her to go there.
Tiger welcome winner for Lambe
Ring is King again at Sligo
He normally goes off like a headless chicken when he's in front and the pace today was crucial as he could settle him. He's had wind trouble so it's great that he stuck it out. There's no race on the Flat in Galway for him off his rating and that's why we came here. Everybody is keen to go to Galway and he'll probably go for a hurdle there now.

Roadtotheisland scores on handicap debut
I thought the mare (Honourable Lady) had a better chance as she was second here before. The cheekpieces helped him and he went on the ground. He did it easy and some horses just like this place. We'll see what there is in Galway for him now.
Powersbomb provides McMahon with first win
That's my first winner and it's great to get that weight off my shoulders. I have to thank a lot of people particularly my neighbour Mark McNiff. He has been a great help. I had a job in a laboratory last year and I only stayed at it a day as I knew it wasn't what I wanted to do. I rang a couple of owners on the way home and they said they would back me so I have to thank them for taking the chance. I bought the horse off Derek Pugh who is from Rosses Point. I had to go to Fairyhouse to do the deal and the horse was coming back to Sligo where he was reared. He did it well. He was green on his debut at Tipperary but we always liked him. I've another four-year-old at home by Turtle Island who I rightly like. This lad is able to keep tabs with him most of the time so I knew he was alright.
