Island just holds on in Fairyhouse opener
He just got beaten at the Curragh but the winner (Accepted) went on to win a Listed race at Tipperary yesterday and he is entitled to go up in class now. I think he is better than what he has showed so far. I got there too soon today and if I had to do it again I'd have got there later. I think he can progress.
Tough Greek records eighth career success
He is fair genuine. The team need horses like him. He won four last year when we needed winners. He was sold as a two-year-old to go to Hong Kong but he failed the vet.
Darwin back on track with Belgrave win
The last day at Ascot was a bit of a shock to his system. He was better today and I probably got to the front too soon but around here I needed to ride him a bit more positive as he gets the trip well. When he gets fast ground and a straight track I don't know how high he can go. He is entitled to go back into group company now and he'd handle hard ground. It was grand safe ground today but anything worse than good to firm he wouldn't really like it.
Emerita opens account in impressive fashion
Hopefully she's a filly with a big future and a stakes filly in the making. She is crying out for a mile and a half but is a big filly and will be a nice one for next year. Fairyhouse have produced beautiful ground today. It's super summer ground.

Gun shoots down rivals at Fairyhouse
It's been coming and she's run well the last few times. She's hard on herself and needs a good pace. Things went fairly well for her today and she loves quick ground. Conor gave her a lovely ride and he gets on well with her.
Primo appreciates the step up in trip
My horses have been running well all day and I thought he was probably my best chance. He has improved with the bit of extra distance. He is an interesting horse in that he was conceived in India. The dam (Jacqueline) is an Indian triple-crown winner and she came over here to go to Galileo. He will probably go for a mile and a half handicap at Galway.
