Feel Des Mottes wins on Irish debut for Doyle
I didn't want him to lose his novice status before the turn of the new season and waited to run him here. I thought he'd go well and he loves that ground. Sean (Flanagan) said he was quite green, nothing went right and he pulled a bit but that will crown him. He'll improve loads from that and he was nice in France and he is nice over here. He'll improve for a better race and he loves that ground and you'd run him on the road.

I only ever rode her over hurdles but always thought she'd be a good mare over a fence. She probably would have come on a lot from her first run (over fences at Cork) and she is a very very good jumper of a fence. I was hoping for three good jumps and I had a fair idea she would deliver them and she did.
Holly Flight wins a battle in Killarney
I'd like to thank Pat and Mike Fennessy who sent us the mare for the year and she is the stable star for us. She'll run away for the summer and we'll have plenty fun with her and she was due that one as every day she goes she tries. She won her point-to-point on soft but she goes on anything and is an honest mare. We have a small yard and have mostly four-year-old point-to-pointers who we try to sell on. We have a handful of track horses and she could go back over hurdles at some stage soon.
