Ability follows up on Galway success
He keeps improving from every run. He settled and jumped lovely today and he is a professional jumper. He'll go for a novice hurdle now. He bleeds and he has done for a while.
Sobrando comes out on top in driving finish
Banellie wins again at Downpatrick
He is a lucky wee horse. We had a few pounds on him this morning at bigger prices than he was returned. We would have really fancied him if the ground was quick. 2m 2f really suited him and he handled the track too.
First time blinkers work a treat on Definite
I really want to run him in the next race but his owner Donal O'Connor has another horse in that (Craigs Dream). I was hoping he would run well as I tried the blinkers on him and they seemed to improve him. I was disappointed the rain came but he still won well. I always thought he had ability but it's all about transferring that ability onto the track.

Well backed Spring takes the bumper
He had a lovely first run but then he disappointed the second time. Maybe I went back to quickly with him but Declan (Lavery) said to rule that run out. We came here looking for good ground but it ended up soft. He jumps really well and is from a good jumping pedigree. Declan gave him a lovely ride. Peter Magnier is great owners and we've a couple of young horses owned by him in the yard.
