Moore times it to perfection on Pearls And Rubies
We thought that she was very smart, we had it in our head could she be an Ascot filly. Obviously, she needed experience badly. We came here to see if she would be forward enough for Ascot. Ryan rode her accordingly and left her alone and educated her. She could be an Albany filly. She has won there and she doesn't even realised she has raced yet. She just kept coming and finished off very strong. She's obviously a filly with plenty of class.
Screen Siren proves best under Hayes
The jockeys were all saying it was very dead on the far rail. so I just said 'can we come over this side?'. When they jumped out, I thought I had perhaps overcomplicated my instructions, but he (Chris Hayes) did it to a tee. Screeny was very good as well, she was coming there well. It's great because Trevor (Dalzell, owner) is here today and he hasn't been there for her other wins. I'm delighted. She ran so well the last day and the form was working out well. She is actually the only one I have to run at the minute, so the pressure was on! I have a very small string this year.
Collective Power a second Lynam winner on the card
It was (a fair effort under 10st2lb), but he had dropped him a few pound and he was in a lower grade. They went very fast, but he did it well in the end. He climbed the hill well. He's not a good horse, but he's not a bad horse! He runs his race time and time again. I remember three or four runs back and he was second in Dundalk. I went in for a cup of tea and this punter came in and said 'that horse of yours is only a dog'. He was second to Tawaazon and trying to give it weight!. What you see is what you get, always there or thereabouts. Sarah had a nice winner of the previous race (Screen Siren).
Cadeau Belle maintains unbeaten record with Listed win
It was always a lucky track for me and they never forget their own!. She won a maiden nicely and Ben said he liked her and he doesn't say it too often!. Ben rode her work last week and thought she had improved. It was a very competitive Listed race today and I was hoping that she could come on, she was a little bit unexposed but that was a very good performance. I'm delighted for Tony Smurfit, he bought her after the last race. In fairness, he picked her out and said he liked the look of her. It is always nice when you sell one on and they go and improve. I think she is a nice filly in the making. We will have a look and see what is around Derby weekend. She deserves a step up into Group 3 class now.
Endless Sunshine puts in bright performance on debut
Canute completes a Navan double for O'Brien and Moore
He had a good run the last day. You have to be very happy with him. He's improving and we might have a look at something in Ascot for him, maybe one of those three-year-old handicaps. I was asking Ryan if a mile or a mile and a quarter was his trip, and he said maybe a mile and a quarter. He's not stuck to the ground either.
Court Of Appeal shows determined attitude at Navan
I was hopeful he would go well. He did it really well and we will look for something similar this next two or three weeks. Conor (Stone-Walsh) is very good, I've been watching him and made a point the middle of last week to try and get him way before I even thought I was getting in. I wanted to claim off the horse with possibly being top-weight. It has worked out well. His last run a year and a half ago he came off the track sore and pulled a muscle. It took him a long time to come right. I was going to have him right for Dundalk and then I thought I would leave him to the spring and that has just landed us here sort of way. I'm training not far from Banbridge in Co Down - there's only four in training, I'm only a restricted trainer.
