Collective Power a second Lynam winner on the card After his daughter Sarah landed race two at Navan, Eddie Lynam took the next race - the GAIN The Advantage Series Handicap - through Collective Power. Some 19 runners went to post for this sprint over the minimum trip and it was top-weight Collective Power who surged home on the outer for Ben Coen. The duo grabbed Stanhope in the final 100 yards and kept on best to prevail by three-quarters of a length at 6/1. Stanhope had to settle for second at 17/2. He was a length and-a half in front of Sosallycanwait (14/1) with Silver Nemo (28/1) a neck away in fourth. Lynam said: "It was (a fair effort under 10st2lb), but he had dropped him a few pound and he was in a lower grade. "They went very fast, but he did it well in the end. He climbed the hill well. "He's not a good horse, but he's not a bad horse! He runs his race time and time again. "I remember three or four runs back and he was second in Dundalk. I went in for a cup of tea and this punter came in and said 'that horse of yours is only a dog'. He was second to Tawaazon and trying to give it weight! "What you see is what you get, always there or thereabouts. "Sarah had a nice winner of the previous race (Screen Siren)."
