Well backed Lyons runner wins F'house's first
he ran a lovely race in Leopardstown and ran out the furthest one of our horses ever ran out in the race but like a clown I stepped him straight up to seven (furlongs). If you watch the Curragh he just arrived at the furlong pole to win his race.

Queen Catrine regal in Fairyhouse
Good strong ride from Gary (Carroll). We were talking beforehand and we discussed it plenty yesterday, we both said we have the two best fillies in the race if they just if they come to what we are seeing at home. In fairness they probably haven't had their ground all summer. I just said to the both lads 'what do you want to do?' We were nearly going to jump and run with Ainippe and then we switched back at the last minute when Gary said he would motorbike her (Queen Catrine) as she had the best draw. I said to them both to commit 100 per cent to whatever they were going to do and go down on your sword. I'd say we will stop with Ainippe once we discuss it with the Sheikh. She just looks like she is not in love with the game anymore. It's nice, we have won a Listed with this filly (Queen Catrine) and she has been working every bit as good as Ainippe at home. To win a Group Three with her now is very important.
Bumper winner lands F'house's 7f maiden
I was lucky to win a bumper because of her (flat) pedigree. Last day I ran her over a mile and she just didn't get home and I was beaten by a very good filly of Dermot Weld's (Sea Swift).
In-form Time To Reason back for more
He's not a flashy worker but when it comes to the racecourse he has been different. He's progressive and an improving horse. The 7lb claim was a big help.
Starting stalls malfunction at Fairyhouse
it’s a case of patience and we had our patience tested to the last! No better man for patience than (owner) Paul Rooney. If ever a horse deserved to win a race he did and we tried everything with him.
'A lovely day's work' for hat-trick hero Lyons
I like him but he's not the finished article. He has a good attitude and Colin said he loved it out there in front.
