Teofilo colt spoils Moore's party
Parish Hall is the first runner for his sire Teofilo and is a nice horse with a future. He is a great mover and will step up to seven furlongs soon.
Winning return for Famous Name
Famous Name is a model of consistency around here and has now won six Stakes races at Leopardstown. He did it today as expected and Pat said he took a blow a furlong out so should improve from today's run. He is a joy to train and the aim for this year is to win a Group 1 with him. I'll speak to Lord Grimthorpe (owner Kahlid Abdullah's Racing Manager) before making a plan.
One Up for Lyons
we thought he'd run well and I decided to claim 10lbs off him to give him every chance. He had been working well and had run well in a hot maiden at Dundalk least season. Danny's claim is now down to 7lbs but I'll be giving him as many chances as possible this season.
Disappointing Recital at Leopardstown
that wasn't a big surprise as she had run a very good race at The Curragh the last day and we always felt she would stay this trip. We've a few options to start thinking about now but the Guineas is a definite option.
Moore's Quest ends with a win
Quest For Peace won nicely and came on well from his first run of the season. We've no immediate plans for him.
Roche Rocks Leopardstown
Northern Rocked has been running consistently well and deserved the win. Leigh gave him a good drive. Northern Rocked is owned Giovanni Olivero, who regularly makes the trip from Turin to seen his horses run and is present today - he has been a good owner with me for the last twenty years.
Curtis Flying with sixth win
Hawk Flight stays very well and liked that firm ground. He had been working well and we were expecting a big run today . he had a good run last time out at Dundalk.
