Stormy Belle does it very well
She has always worked well and seems so quick on good ground that I never thought she would handle soft - keeps progressing with every run though. It's a great advantage in these auction races that she cost so little and I doubt she'll run again this year.
In-form Halford delighted with Saltonstall
He's a smasher and is a gorgeous looking horse and has a lovely temperament. He travelled good, picked up well and probably got there a bit too soon and is still a bit green. He's a horse we like and will run next in the Eyrefield Stakes at Leopardstown. He handles that ground but wouldn't necessarily need it by any means. He is so straightforward and it is only starting for him - there's more to come.
William Ashford gets his revenge at Limerick
He rode him a bit differently from the last day and the horse stayed on well today. He'll run at Naas on Sunday (week) and I'll keep things rolling and hope they stay that way. He has a bit of toe and might jump hurdles but that'll be later on and we'll wait for next year.

Grande Waltz serves up a 33/1 surprise
We had coughing for four or five weeks but he might have shown the benefit of six weeks off as he has strengthened up.
