Doors blows his rivals away
He deserved it and was a shade unlucky the last day where he missed the last a bit and the track was too tight for him. He's a big horse and he had to do it the hard way. He'll be better for a step up in trip, is only five and still a big baby. I'd imagine he'll spend another year hurdling before going chasing. He'll probably go for a handicap before being left off for the summer.

O'Neill's team up for Sydney surprise
I was a bit surprised but he did run well the last day. I thought he'd have to improve more to win, although he has improved a lot over the last month. We tried to get Andrew McNamara but he decided to ride the second horse and Johnny gave him a super ride. He'll be let off as he wants soft ground and he'll go chasing next season.
Tyner/Enright continue to make big impact
He was entered at Clonmel but I decided to come here instead as he'd such a light weight. He just sneaked into the handicap and it's a fantastic prize to win.
Toon in the hood at Gowran
The addition of the hood helped to settle him better. It helped him to get into a nice rhythm, and Davy was able to get a breather into him. In fairness Davy gave him a great ride. Ideally he'd prefer nicer ground and hopefully we'll squeeze another run out of him before the end of the season. Two and a half miles and up is his trip.

Tell promises much More with facile win
Normally with a horse like this you would wait until the autumn but we will see if there is something similar for him. He won nicely and to change yards and do that was very impressive. There was lots of talk about him at the sales and I was pleased to get him.
