We had him tuned up for the Galway Hurdle but he had been schooled over fences before that as our plan was to go straight over fences after Galway,. He was entitled to win that on his hurdle rating but won it well enough. Hopefully he'll pick up a novice chase or two.

Leegane strikes for O'Dwyer

He had a good shout. He ran in a winners race at Galway because I couldn't get him in anywhere else,. He won a point-to-point for me and hopefully will win another handicap chase. He jumps well and stays well. He'd like a bit better ground and will go wherever we get the ground for him.
