Lake Champlain wins Gowran opener
we put the hood on him and he definitely settled better. The problem in Listowel was that he wouldn't settle. I know Masterchippy came down (when in contention at the third last) but he was sort of in control and then didn't do a whole lot in front. We'll keep going if the ground stays good. He might go back on the Flat as I think he's reasonably well handicapped and we could try and win a mile-and-a-half handicap.
Kennedy steers second winner in 24 hours
(her win at) Ballinrobe wasn't a big surprise but she disappointed us big time in Wexford (finished last). We couldn't find a reason but gave her time off, freshened her up and she came back to win today. She made a couple of jumping errors and luck was on our side today.
Fu's Island wins for busy Lynch
it was a good performance and I was hoping she'd be in the first three. We'll keep her to hurdles for the rest of the season and hopefully she stays sound; we don't have too many so we have to mind them!. She's going well on that good ground but most of the Turtle Island's like a cut. She'll probably run in a novice now and we'll see what mark the handicapper gives her.
Misty Lady claims third Graded win for Cullen
she's tough. She'd never been over the trip (three miles) but in the end of the day, staying won it for her. Today was to see if she got the trip and it gives us options now as she's versatile.
Tulsa Jack wins for political Grand Alliance
he got stuck in the ground a bit in Listowel and likes goodish ground and he stays well. Ger (Fox) gets on well with him; he jumps a bit up in the air and is careful but he knows him. He wasn't flamboyant at the last but got away quick enough. He races a bit lazy and probably doesn't want to be in front too long. He wants three miles on good ground. Ger is a good rider - he's coming on all the time, is strong and they jump well for him.
