Another for McNamara as Paddy delivers
He jumped away well. The ground is well watered and it is good and safe. He was entitled to win a race like this and we will probably look for a novice for him now. Andrew said that he wasn't that quick away from the back of his hurdles, but he was nice and clean, and a good jump at the last probably won it for him.
The Boat People makes all to take the feature
Andrew got the fall on his shoulder, he thinks its okay but he has been stood down for the day. It is unfortunate for him but Phillip gave this fellow a super ride. I'm delighted for the lads (the owners), they bought him last winter and he has improved with every run.
Baidin & Gallagher follow up on Cork success
It is unbelievable to win two races in a week, and if she is ok after this the obvious race to go for is the mares handicap hurdle at Listowel.
Roe Deer & Smullen score for Collins
He likes fast ground and it was all against him at Galway. He is a very big horse and Pat gave him a great ride as he is difficult enough to ride on a track like this. He is nearly seventeen hands and here is a tight track for him.
Newlyweds score with He's Our Man
He has always been a decent jumping horse and this seems to be his ground. He is my stable star and Katie was very good on him. She was very strong in the finish.
Mekong makes it two from two
He is a hardy horse and he stays well. He learned a lot from Gowran.
King beats the O'Brien siblings on Ravello
Double for Halford as Indian flops
She is a lovely, genuine filly and she seems to have a preference for going left-handed. Shane said she picked up well and she'll probably go for the listed race at Listowel now. She is just not mad about going right-handed and that will be a great confidence boost for her.
