Deegan/Supple on the mark with another Abdullah filly
She has a nice page and is by an unfashionable stallion, but she goes well and I like her. Her work has been good. She is going to be out fairly early. She had a little problem with her eye, but that has cleared up and she hasn't disappointed. She is great mentally and is a nice strong filly.
Great 10 minutes for Waterford horsemen
Hoban finds another winner with Atlas
He loves it around here. Seven furlongs is his trip but he should get a mile. He has to have fast ground or the all-weather. He might go for a hurdle next and he'll keep going over the summer.
116/1 double up for McCullagh on Doran's Day
Smartcity is certainly a handy sort
I think a lot of this fellow. He is very well bred and I expected him to do the business today. He is quite a straight-forward horse. He was a bit green but when he hit the front he did it well. I expected him to win at Navan on his debut but he had an unfortunate incident coming out of the stalls then. He settled well today and we'll step him up now. The Gallinule at the Curragh would be an option for him now.
Another winner for the Prince - at Dundalk
Lexi's Boy toughs it out in Dundalk finale
This horse will be going jumping eventually and he'll make a proper jumper. On the flat he'll probably get another two furlongs. He ran a bit green again today. I was hopeful coming here but more confident about the two-year-old (Pea Shooter, 3rd in the first). I thought the track here rides a bit slow which didn't suit Pea Shooter.
