Fantasy King off the mark over hurdles
Charles (O'Brien) was adamant that I drop him in and get him settled today. He actually didn't settle that well really but when we turned in I let him stride on. He met the last on a long stride and got to the front sooner than I intended but kept on well up the hill. It's lovely ground and there's plenty juice in it.

he's (Minella Fiveo) a staying horse and we said we'd make it today. He was entitled to win that and he'll be a nice chaser in time, given how well he has done in point to points.

Ruby was very good on him and he makes the difference. he wants it even quicker and I'd have preferred if they hadn't watered! He'll keep on the go as long as we have decent ground; I've him entered in the Cesarewitch and we'll see how he comes out of this before making plans.
