Darroun Triumph bound

Better ground suits and he's improving all the time. He'll jump a fence in time. Paul really got him jumping today and he seems to be more confident jumping on better ground. He'll go for the Triumph. Paul said he appeared to lose his action a bit turning in but he seems to be okay.

Charlie makes it two for Willie

He's probably the same as the first winner, Darroun, in that the better ground was a help. He had disappointed up to now and he looks like a spring horse. He was the same last year. He idled in front and I wouldn't be afraid to go out in trip with him on better ground. He'll get entries in the novice hurdles at Cheltenham and I'm not sure if he'll run before then.

He got into all sorts of trouble down the back but battled great. He's a full brother to Jenari and a half-brother to Jetson. We always thought he was a bit better than Jenari at home but don't ask me where we go next. We'll sit down and have a talk about it.
