Princess overcomes trouble to win Slane
We thought she was nice but she is very nervous around other horses and for that reason we thought she might need the experience. She stays well and will get a lot further. I'm delighted for the owners.

He done it well. We were a bit worried about the ground the last day but he got through it well and did the same there again today. He is actually sold now and will probably go to Lucinda Russell (Buchanan's boss) and that's why Peter rode him here. He needs a fence, better ground and a bit of distance.
Val another for Gilligan
I wasn't going to run this one until I saw the size of the field (11 runners). She was second to one of Tony's (Martin) at Cork last Sunday and that form gave her every chance here. Long may this run continue.

He ran too free the last day in Clonmel but he put it together better now. We'll look forward to Punchestown now and I'd imagine he'll have to go for the Guinness Gold Cup. J'y Vole and Cooldine will also be going for that race. He could have the class to go back to two miles but I don't think that he will.
Farmer eventually earns his corn
That is his first win over jumps after fifteen attempts (dating back to the end of August 2006). He won on the flat in France. He fell at the first the last day and the priority here was to get him jumping early and to take it from there.
