Mitebeall wins Wexford feature
His dam is a full-sister to Hors La Loi III and Cyborgo. He is going the right way and the extra few furlongs were obviously a help. He will probably only get four or five pounds so it doesn't make any difference but I might run him tomorrow or Wednesday. We will see how he is in the morning but I'm not ruling it out. It is nice to get that pot. After he won at Clonmel I thought he would go on. He ran a blinder at Christmas in a good race and the ground went for him. He is very ground dependant and he is such a big horse you wouldn't want it too fast. At Sligo we probably rode him wrong and the track probably didn't suit. David gave him a great ride.
Ben pays for the stags
That was a weak maiden hurdle. The favourite went out of it but obviously I didn't know that,. There was nothing much in it and I wouldn't get carried away with it. He jumped well, the penny is starting to drop with him. He has been hot and he wears a hood in the ring before we whip it off going out. Ann Grace is the key to him, if she is not with him he has no chance. She knows how to settle him and get on with him. She does a great job and travels all of my horses, she is brilliant. It is nice to ride a winner too. My brother's stag is on in Kilkenny tonight and I will enjoy that now. I think they all had their tenner on so it will keep them in beer money for the night!. I can't imagine that the handicapper will be too hard. He is hard on himself and needs a bit of break between races. He wouldn't mind a cut in the ground. My father Martin owns him.

Captain lands the odds in bumper
She is a very honest filly, she is a push button ride. She is very, very professional for such a young four-year-old,. She is a half-sister to Strain Of Fame who was going to win in Thurles the other day and my mother bred the two of them. The mare was unfortunately killed in a lightening storm. She will jump a hurdle and I'd say she'll go over hurdles next. She is not very big and whether she will go on softer ground is a question mark. She has got her win now and that is great. I got drafted in to drive this one down today so its a good days work!
