He showed a nice bit of improvement from Navan and I'd imagine he will go on to Aintree now for the National. He'll like the better ground judging by the size of his feet. He did everything nicely today and I hope there will be more improvement to come from him.
Minute gains deserved victory over fences
I'm delighted with him. It was probably a little bit of a risk running him again fourteen days after Naas and that was probably a good race. He jumped and galloped well today and did what you would expect him to do.
Hughes ends the day on a high with Captain
He is a nice sort of horse and he had a couple of runs last year which would suggest he had a chance today. He appeared to be in good form coming here today and he will now go for a maiden hurdle in about three weeks' time. He will make a nice chaser.
