Twomey targets black type with Raven's Cry

She is a nice filly and this race fitted in well after Galway and conditions suited. She had run over a mile previously at Bellewstown so I thought she'd be ok doing that today. William (Kennedy, owner) bred her and she is the first foal so we'd like to get a bit of black type. She has plenty of options, she is in the Moyglare and Prix Marcel Boussac and races like the Ingabelle Stakes (at Leopardstown) or the Moyglare would be an option next. It depends on how she comes out of this but the aim will be to get black type.

She won it well and I'd say she is improving with age and her mother got better with age too. She travelled well, picked up well and quickened well. She seems to get 1m2f as well so has plenty options and is in the Blandford on Champions Weekend. She needs goodish ground and thankfully it dried up a bit.
