Miedo comes good with cheek-pieces

Robbie said to put cheek-pieces on him. At Thurles he wanted to do that but he was running around in front and not concentrating. I've always liked him and his jumping has got very slick. He jumped them into the ground. I'll throw him into the deep end at Fairyhouse on Sunday (Grade 3 Bar One Racing 3YO Hurdle). He's fit and well and will take his chance.

That is very pleasing and we bought him in France very cheaply in a breeze-up sale at Deauville. Goldikova is a long way back in his pedigree. He's a gorgeous, well balanced horse. He disappointed in a bumper at Sligo on soft and I'd say he's ground dependent. We'll paddle on for the moment and he'll only run at Christmas time if it's good. He idled in front but at least he wanted to get there.

She stuck at it well and it's all about jumping with her. She got it together today. She missed the second last and the last a bit but got away with it. She'll stay handicap hurdling.

She is a grand little thing and hopefully the handicapper isn't too severe on her. She will go for something similar and she'll be nice for someone to breed from eventually. She's a good-looking mare.

It's lovely to win a beginners with him. He's a grand big honest horse and he'll stay three miles. He jumped very well today and he rode him well. They all seem to jump well for Bryan. He's probably not good enough for the top novices but we might still go for the good three-miler at Leopardstown over Christmas as he wants a trip.
