Stocktons books Cheltenham ticket
he has earned his right to travel now as his form is very solid and he jumps very well. He is honest, tough and is straightforward and is the right type to bring to Cheltenham - he's not one to have a nervous breakdown and run like his tail is on fire on the way to the first hurdle!. He'll enjoy the hustle and bustle and I presume he'll go for the Triumph Hurdle as he'll have a lot of weight in the Fred Winter.
Mullins equals Aidan O'Brien's jumps record
she is improving away but she didn't jump particularly well until she had to, at the last two. She showed a good turn of foot to put it to bed and she stayed on well. She'll come back here for the new Grade 1 Mares Hurdle at the Festival. her owners, Jim and Fiona McStay, aren't here today as they are in Glasgow to see their two daughters compete in the World Irish Dancing Contest - hopefully they'll get on as well as the mare did here!
Mullins breaks O'Brien's record with 156th win
a big factor has been the wet summer - we kept going with a number of horses that we would otherwise throw out to grass but I didn't bother throwing them out and kept them in. Normally we wouldn't get going until October but by then, we had a huge amount of winners and the easy ground made that possible. It was only in the last couple of weeks than someone said to me about Aidan's record.
Roi Du Mee wins Grand National trial
Roi Du Mee has been a terrific horse for us this season and has been very consistent. We put a tongue strap on him today and it seemed to bring about a bit more improvment. I'm not sure what we'll do but he's in the Ryanair Chase and in the National. We hadn't really looked beyond today and we'll see how he comes out of this.

Warne turns over another odds-on fav'
he (Warne) is such a bunny rabbit! He loved dropping back in trip today and I was trying to take him back all the time but he just kept making lengths everywhere and kept getting there. He travelled like the winner at Leopardstown but just didn't get home on the ground - he is a class horse when he is on song
