Run With The Wind soars to victory
It's horses for courses. I didn't want to run him only the owner (John B O'Hagan is down. I was worried about the ground, I thought it was a bit tacky. I wanted to go to Ballinrobe next week, but the owner was right again!. He's obviously a good horse fresh as he hasn't run since Killarney. He was very slick and quick at his fences today. The ground must be drying out.
Chasing's the game for Dick Dundee
He stopped like he was shot at Perth the last day. The last few runs the ground had been a little bit quick for him so he wasn't letting himself down on it. A little bit of juice helped him today. His jumping won it for him and no doubt he has improved for going chasing. He had been off the track for a while with tendon injuries. When he won his point-to-point he looked decent.

Minella Foru makes big impression in Listowel
That was a lovely run and he's a lovely horse. He's won well and I'm thrilled. We'll see what the race turns out to be. He was ready to run, he was fit enough if good enough. He'll run in three or four weeks time again and that will tell us a lot. I was lucky enough to have one brilliant horse . Captain Cee Bee . and every horse I have is judged by his ability. We're living in hope with Minella Foru, the dream is still alive!. I think that's JP's first winner of the week and he's one to look forward to.
Quick Jack delights Martin in Listowel
He's a great owner [John Breslin] and he's on a roll and I'm delighted for him. He ran a blinder yesterday and it was a big ask to come out today. We're fortunate it worked. The young fella gave him a great ride. He deserves a crack now at something like the November Handicap and also has the option of staying over hurdles. He'll get a well-deserved break now.
The Crafty Butcher slices through to win
That was a super ride, the ride of the week. He was off the bridle passing the stands, but he does like to come from off the pace. My horses weren't firing on all cylinders last season, but I've a few nice horses now. This horse will go chasing sooner rather than later. He was placed in a few point-to-points.
Angel Chorus makes right noises in Listowel
That was great. It got a little bit tight out there, but she travelled well and got through the gap. It's a lovely place to get a winner. She had a good run the last day and she'll probably go for a winners' bumper next and has the option of running on the flat. She could go jumping for someone at some stage.
