Son of Wootton Bassett wins Navan hurdle
it was a lovely performance. He's done well on the Flat since joining Henry and has been schooling well at home so it's great to see him do that.
The Mouse Doctor gains first Irish jumps win
he won well. I suppose on his last couple of runs he was entitled to do that. He loves the good ground, it probably didn't suit a lot of the others but it suited him. Over the years he's had a lot of issues so it's grand to get a good day out of him like that. He's in a Flat race at Listowel on Thursday but we might rest on today as we're not having too many. He gave himself a good old cut there behind as well.
Horse with '0000-8800000' form lands Navan gamble
I gave him a few spins on the Flat to give him confidence because we seemed to sicken him last year. Coming off the point-to-point field Willie (Mullins) gives them a year off and I see why now. They are trained hard to run in four-year-old point-to-points and I probably should have given him time off to mature. Maybe the time through lockdown and different things has helped and maybe things are falling into place for him. He also been racing more on winter ground and that ground seems to suit him. He has a Flat pedigree. hopefully the handicapper is not too hard on him and he can go and be competitive again.

Touch Of Oscar ends O'Sullivan's winning run
it's great to get the win out of him. He's a good solid jumping horse and appreciated the good ground. It's a good jumping test around here and he liked that as well. He got me out of a hole at the second last. He had a nice run the first day and he probably came on from it. Hopefully he'll be out again in the next few weeks.
Motorcyclist Dunlop-owned horse wins Navan bumper
he (Sundrenched) is owned by a very brave man in Michael Dunlop. He rides in the Isle Of Man TT and I'm delighted for him; he's over practicing today in England for the British Super Bikes.
