I couldn't believe the price he was and I said it to the boys out on the track,. He is a nice big galloping horse who doesn't show us much at home but every day we took him away he showed us a nice bit. But at home he just eats and sleeps and is a big laid-back horse. Ground-wise it is hard to know what he wants because at home he just does what he has to do. He is a big chaser really and jumped well. I'd say he'll be in different colours the next day.

He won a point to point last year and he is a very big horse who I have given all the time he can get. He'll be better over three miles and is really only a baby for what he is,. He was bought as a three mile chaser and I'm delighted as his owner (David Scott) sadly is in hospital. He also has Neverrushacon and Got Trumped with me and this will give him a lift. I'll look for any three mile hurdle with this horse next. I don't know how good he is but he'll stay going.

He is a smart horse. This is his game and he is going to be hitting a rating of 150 now but I'm going to enjoy two Graded successes with him. Not many horses achieve that in a lifetime and we'll worry about a plan when Frank (Berry, McManus' racing manager) gets back,. The ground might scupper Leopardstown for him and we might have to look for a Grade 2 or 3 race if we have to go that route because he'll be limited enough with the handicaps he can go for. He won't be going back over fences any time soon as if you can do one thing well, stay doing it. His jumping was very slick today.

Staying is his forte. He is bred to stay and he is a stayer and today was his best day jumping by a long way,. He ran in Limerick over Christmas when we thought he had a chance but Limerick can be extremely tough going and today suited. It was a handicap and he was rated lower than his hurdles rating and Eoin claimed 7lbs as well. Eoin has already ridden a winner, second, third and fourth for me and has been lucky for me. We'll look for another handicap chase next. I have ten horses in training but have loads of room for more.
