Duke enjoys jumping game
He really needs the good ground and the hurdles have sharpened him up. He'll probably go back to the flat (over a mile and a half plus) during the summer as well. He could go for a handicap hurdle now either. The owner is Ottelo Finetto and is from Sweden.
Maid puts Mullins two up
That was a smart performance first time over hurdles. Those easyfix hurdles can be a bit scary for horses at times. I think she has the pace to win a flat race so we'll mix-it with her. It's the owners (Ethel & Brian Keenan from Roscommon) first home-bred so they're delighted.
Well-backed Rock defies top-weight
The track didn't suit him according to the jockey and he probably would need a more galloping track. We thought the ground was a bit too soft in Clonmel the last day. He has just taken a bit of time.
Murphy & Power double-up with Sebadee
He prefers better ground and loves it around here. He won his maiden hurdle here. He is a dual purpose horse and will mix-it.
Hatton does it again at Tramore
He is the only outside horse I have and he is owned by my neighbour, Chris (also bred him). He loves that ground. The bridle he wore was brought in by his groom, who is French, because it goes with the purple stars on his silks.

Model county man Bowe makes breakthrough
She won three point-to-points this year. She is a full-sister to Lively Lass, who won lately. She likes the good ground, she won all her point-to-points on it. There are twelve in the syndicate (White Gold Syndicate) all from around Enniscorthy - Bree, Adamstown and Ferns.
