Going - Good - Yielding in places. Bright and sunny
Karkari justifies favouritism for Lawlor
It wouldn't have been that good a maiden. He might go to Tramore or Kilbeggan next as he needs tight tracks. He likes a bit of cut in the ground. Alan (Crowe) gave him a great ride. Ideally he would have needed a bit of company at the end of the race as he idles a bit.
Traffic Article shows the way home
You had to fancy him today on his form in the book. We'll look at a novice hurdle in England for him next perhaps. If the Adrian Maguire horse (Good Time Donie) hadn't made such a bad mistake at the first he might have won though as he was very heavily backed.
Local trainer provides an upset with Uncommited
I'm a farrier by trade. She will stay all day and we'll look at a beginners' chase next on good ground.
Mountain Heather stays on best
We'll probably give her a break and come back for a hurdle race around Christmas. She is rated 95 over hurdles. Then maybe a winners of one chase will be next. She is a home bred owned by my wife who is away coursing today.
Burnt Oil Babe takes advantage of her mark
She was champion point-to-point mare last year and was entitled to win off that mark. She also runs well fresh. She finished fifteen lengths ahead of Hi Cloy in a point-to-point and I think Barry Cash gave her a great ride.
Lets Go Sunshine brightens up favourite backers
We are going well. We will give him a break as he wants good ground so it looks like next year for him. He handled today as the jar was taken out of the ground.
Jakros dominates the bumper
I'll send him jumping now. Hopefully he is a nice horse that will win races.
