O'Brien eyes Futurity for Arcada
He's a fair horse. I let him gallop there and he stuck at it. I gave him a squeeze at the three and he picked up again. He was a bit more professional in the first half of the race. It's lovely ground, it's probably not far off yielding.
Have A Nice Day just loves the Curragh
He loves the Curragh. He was very quiet at Fairyhouse but he lights up when he comes here. He's a fantastic horse for us. David Simmonson gave him a great ride. We haven't claimed off him for a long time and he's been running consistently. I thought our chance had gone with the rain last night, as he likes it quick but he stuck at it well. He's in the big seven furlong handicap at Galway but will need quick ground. He has run well in it before. If the ground holds up we'll have a crack at it.
Mecca's Angel soars to victory
Peace Envoy readily delivers the win
He's turned into a big, strong horse now and I'm very happy with him today. He's a handsome horse. He's getting better this horse and is progressing well. He's a big horse. We thought he would progress and he is. You'd have to be very happy with him there. Every week he is getting better. He's getting bigger and stronger and his mind is coming lovely. Ryan was very happy with him. Ryan was very confident after riding him the last day as he knew the horse well. He was very confident on him. He could come back here for the Phoenix Stakes if Caravaggio doesn't come or he could go for the Morny. On today you wouldn't say he wouldn't get seven furlongs. He reminds me very much of Rock Of Gibraltar. Knowing Rock he's very much like him although he has a long way to come obviously.
Seventh Heaven for O'Brien and Heffernan
I've been happy with them all at home. Given the choice I would have picked Even Song so it was lucky I wasn't given the choice!. They went a nice gallop and she was on the bridle all the way down to the two (pole) and she won well. Seamus was riding her work. He had second pick and wanted to ride her. I was a bit surprised but Seamus had faith in her and he had been riding her.
Ladies Derby glory for Mooney and Zeftan
He had a long time off. We gave him a run in Naas and knew it would bring him on. We were happy with him coming here. He had 4lb less than when he won it two years ago and Helen was taking off 7lb so it worked out well. She gave him a great ride. She might have won a bit too far but we won't be too concerned about that. We're delighted with him and we'll see if there is anything in Galway for him. He does love this place though and seems better on a big galloping track. We'll have a look and see what is coming up and see how he is in the morning.
Twilight Payment could be Leger-bound
That's him — he's tough. Two miles suits him very well. We might think about the English Leger as it's for three-year-olds only. We'll have a look at it anyway.
