The Entertainer another promising one for Caravaggio
White Lavender another winner for in-form Murphy
She has a lot to learn yet but we think she is a good filly,. She's was bred by Paul McCartan and is from a great family, she's the same family as Harry Angel so the speed is there. She's doing everything well at home, a little bit green, but please God she'll learn. She burst out of the gates, Gary got her relaxed a bit and as soon as met the rising ground she hit a different gear. I don't know where we'll go now, we thought she'd need the run today but seemingly she didn't.
Carroll on a real roll and brings up 407/1 Navan double
He loves this track and coming back to five helped,. He ran well in Tipperary, staying on well, and we thought after that he was back to himself. We went to Naas the last day, he went a good gallop but just cut out. Dropping back in trip today made the difference. He's never won beyond five so he obviously doesn't get beyond that. There are very few races for him, hence we had him out so quickly. He's done his job today.
Feane one three as another Gary has his say
He was down 20lb from 72. When we got him first we ran him in a handicap at Tipperary and the handicapper gave him 4lb for finishing fifth, we shouldn't have run him in it,. He ran well from there on, was consistent, but his form tailed off last year and he was back to a winnable mark. We fancied him today and we're delighted. It all worked out, Gary (Halpin) gave him a good ride, and the lads will be delighted to have a winner. The other lad (Fool Proof, 3rd) ran well too.
Sir Lucan does Wordsworth late as Ballydoyle dominate
New tactics for 11-year-old Park Row sees retirement talk shelved
The last year has been so hard as he's had little niggly things. A couple of runs ago we thought about retiring him but he came back to form, thank goodness,. He ran a cracker the last day. All credit to Ross as he wanted to change the tactics, instead of making the running we dropped him in and he appreciated it. It's brilliant for us all, for everyone at home. That's his sixth win for us and he had three for Johnny Feane as well. He's 11-years-old but he's still got plenty of life in him.
Siobhan Rutledge excels again and claim down to five
It wasn't really a surprise because she works brilliantly all the time. She's been so disappointing that we were actually going to give up on her,. A young girl started riding her out about two months ago, Ava. We decided to take everything off today and put Siobhan up, she's really good value for her 7lb. It's not a surprise on her work but it is a surprise on the way she's been running. She can work with any horse. It was a change of tactics as well, out in front, but probably taking the tongue-strap and everything off made the difference. She had a palate operation a long time ago but we just decided to take everything off and leave it natural. It was badly needed and hopefully she can win again.
Modus Operandi tops off good day for Ballydoyle at Navan
