Lane scores again for Ewing and Lennon
He seems to be improving. My horses were sick last year. Being by Winged Love, they do take time. He seems to have turned a corner and Sam gave him a lovely ride. Hopefully that can get him into the Ulster National. He was second in it a few years ago (2019).
Evening 'a tonic' for recuperating Harrington
That was a very good performance and it’s good to see him come back. He had a fall in Naas and it knocked his confidence a bit. He was novicey in the big handicap here last time. He was going to run in Limerick over Christmas but the ground was too heavy and this was a lovely opportunity for him. He’ll probably go for the two-mile (Ladbrokes) handicap at the Dublin Racing Festival. He’s a lovely big horse and is really only filling his frame now. That’s a nice tonic for mum as she had a knee replacement last Thursday.

Design off the mark with fine front-running performance
Present picks up in style
He ran a lovely race in Naas. Even though the winner won easy, he galloped to the line and Sean was delighted. A step up to three miles will help him but we probably won’t do it as quick as that. He’s a light-framed individual so we won’t run him too often. We’ll have a chat with Rory (Kelleher, owner) and see what plan we’ll make for him. I wouldn’t like to run him on good ground.
Youth comes good with wide margin win for Foster
She was a bit too careful over fences and the blinkers made a difference. They made her a bit braver. During the race she was a little bit hot and cold but when push came to shove she pulled it out. She has a lovely pedigree and will be a nice broodmare. There might be another one in her. She will stick to hurdles now and the blinkers. She ran well in Fairyhouse last year so she likes this place.
