Joy for Mag & Danny as Oscars scores
She is a grand little filly and she is small. I think there is race back here for her on January 20th all going well. It is a Listed race and we will try and get some blacktype with her. She is as tough as nails and I am delighted with her as she has now won a bumper and a hurdle.
Canaly over turns his better fancied rivals
He is back to what he was a couple of years ago. He looked good as a novice but he wasn't right at all last year. He took to fences well which is a big plus and his jumping was exceptional today. He got a good ride. His handicap mark is probably spoilt now but there are plenty of novice races for him. He will get three miles on better ground in the spring.
Rich times for Doyle
Rover eases to fourth career success
She jumped well and she could go to Thurles next Sunday for a three mile handicap chase. She was gone out of hurdling before I got her. I could try and get her back into the system by running her in a hurdle in England.
Apt Approach records his seventh success
He was suited by conditions. I think he has only had two runs over hurdles and we will keep him over hurdles now if we can. We will try and find another conditions race for him next.
Carroll times it well aboard Dial
He didn't get home at Wexford (won by just a short head) and was in front too soon. There is only one winning post so I told Tim to come late on him and he rode him perfectly. He is a good rider. He might go to Leopardstown now but there is a bit of a rise to the finish there and I am trying to pick easy tracks for him.
Patrick just one away from equalling record
He disappointed at Naas but he just wasn't ready for it and the run put him right. He looked to have a nice turn of foot there and he will go for a winners bumper now. That is my first winner for John Magnier.
