Brouder's Harvest Festival gets even better
The bit of experience won the day as he's deadly to jump, . He's definitely a lot slicker than the favourite. He'd a very good run in Galway. I thought the ground in Galway was a bit on the fast side for him, and it is lovely jumping ground here. We'll probably keep him going and step him up in grade. He is handicapped on the Flat but we'll probably leave him on the Flat until next year. The owner Peter Acheson is a former Tipperary Football Captain, and the colours are from his club (Moyle Rovers). He is living in Dubai.
Noonan opens account on well-backed Sand Fly
She ran well earlier in the week and she was in such good form we said we'd give her a break after today. She was well-in here. We took her to the beach a few times to freshen her up. The boys (Fly Syndicate) all had tickets for the match and stayed at home so I'm glad it paid off. There is only one Listowel and a lot of the syndicate are from North Kerry. Senator Paul Daly in Kilbeggan is also involved, Eamon Leahy and the Kavanaghs from Charleville. We bought her handy early in the year when nobody had faith in her. We didn't get the key when we bought her but I think we have the key to her now!. Gary rides out for me and is a Newcastle West man.
Line Out rewards patience to land Listowel feature
. I was able to get a breather turning in as I was going ok then and it would have been easy to go on. Thankfully I'd enough in reserve at the end. It was a good training performance to get him back as I was a bit disappointed with him in Killarney the last day but he's come forward a good bit from the race.
